Hugh Laurie Wins Craig Ferguson Mouth Organ
The delightful Hugh Laurie wins the fourth Golden Mouth Organ Award, March 2, 2011, with his rendition of Oh Susanna. Previous recipients were Billy Connolly, David Pogue, and Jennifer Ouellette ( Home Sweet Home ). Although Katy Couric played a recognizable version of Shenandoah, her appearance came before the award was introduced. In Britain, Oh Susanna must be the representative harmonica tune, as both Laurie and Connolly chose it for the competition. LOL IMO, the most deserving recipient had to be Pogue, for his excellent rendition of the Ode To Joy, a choice which was both surprising and exceptionally well executed :D
