This recreation is a result of indepth analysis of the scene in the film, A Hard Day s Night, in which the Beatles perform If I Fell. Notice how John uses two different variations of the A7 chord. John plays the A7 variation in which a G is played on the E string, along with baring most of the 2nd fret. But he switches to the second variation most notably in between the first and second verse.
