Anh 26 Francesco Durante + J. S. Bach Mass in C minor BWV Ghislieri Consort
Once attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach in the appendix as BWV Now considered to be by Francesco Durante. A copy was made by Bach around 1727, leading to the inaccurate composition date of 172732. Bach then inserted a new Christe possibly for a performance. Bach performed with minor changes in Leipzig two Missae later found in the Breitkopf archives that originally were attributed to him and then to his cousin, Johann Ludwig Bach (16771731).
