NG 20 Falcon 9 launches S. S. Patricia Hilliard Robertson Cygnus and Falcon 9 first stage landing
For NASAs Commercial Resupply Services2 (CRS2) NG20 mission, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the CRS20 Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed Patricia Patty Hilliard Robertson, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on 30 January 2024, at 17:07 UTC (12:07 EST). The NG20 Cygnus delivers up to 3, 748 kg (8, 263 pounds) of supplies to the International Space Station and is scheduled to be captured with the stations robotic arm on 1 February 2024, around 09:20 UTC (04:20 EST). The NG20 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named after the former NASA astronaut Patricia Hilliard Robertson. Following stage separation, Falcon 9s first stage landed at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Landing Zone 1 (LZ1). Falcon 9s first stage (B1077) previously supported 9 missions: Crew5, GPS III SV06, Inmarsat6 F2, CRS28, Intelsat G37 and four Starlink missions.
