Sparkle Moore Rock a Bop (1956)
Sparkle made very few recordings, but was considered a female Elvis type. She was 19 at the time of this record. Original Billboard review: Gal pulls a female Elvis Presley and belts out a catchy rock and roll ditty with style and Billboard rating: 66 out of 100. Did not chart in Billboard but released as a single in November 1956. Written by Barbara Morgan (Sparkle s real name). Bside is Skull and Crossbones.
