Darius Goes West the roll of his life

A trailer for a feature length documentary called Darius Goes West: The Roll of his Life. The movie is scheduled for completion in the winter of 2006 and will appear at film fesitvals worldwide in 2007. It is about a fifteen year old, named Darius Weems, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Darius s brother Mario, passed away of the same disease at age nineteen. Darius is sixteen now. Having never seen the ocean, a mountain, or even left his hometown of Athens, GA. Darius, along with 11 friends took a road trip to evaluate wheelchair accessibility across America, raise awareness for DMD, and try to get Darius s wheelchair PIMPED on MTV s hit show PIMP MY RIDE.
