Gary Thain and Uriah Heep in Auckland 1st December 1974

This concert seems to be forgotten about and certainly missed on gig dates regarding Uriah Heep. These photos are from a family member of Gary s who flew to Auckland especially to see his one and only concert with Uriah Heep in his home country of New Zealand. Gary s parents also attended this concert, their heads can be seen in one of the shots on the righthand side. These are the last known photos of Gary playing with Uriah Heep. Rest in Peace to our Aunty Rita (Garys Mum) who passed away 22nd January 2010, a sweet wonderful lady. I just heard a new song that I had not heard before, a bonus track for Demons and Wizards. .. Gary used to go to Xavier Boys College here in Christchurch, along with my other cousins and Uncle since the earthquakes it has now come Marion Girls College which one of my daughters now
