Yoga for Neurosurgeons. Lesson 2
At this session, we focus on the Shanti (Peace) Mantra, and its significance for neurosurgical practice. Also, we discuss several other interesting things, particularly, the difference between Yoga meditation in Hindu terminology and pray in other religions. Dr. Iype Cherian is the Director of Neurosciences at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (Karad, India). He is an expert in the field of skull base surgery, worldfamous for the development of cisternostomy operation. He has been using the techniques of Yoga for more than 35 years to help him calm down and achieve the next level of skills in Neurosurgery. He comes from Kerala, a place where Yoga and Ayurveda is celebrated.
