Genius Next Door by Regina Spektor piano cover

This is one of my favourite songs from Regina s album Far. The lyrics are haunting and the piano accompaniment really allows her classical upbringing to shine through. It grabbed my attention and now i m afraid i have come across a problem i ve had with other covers. By only playing the accompanying piano the cover becomes monophonic and repetitive, but by adding what the singer is singing i end up warping the tune a little too much. But no matter what you think of this, check out the original. Greatly underappreciated artist. For Brigette. Enjoy
