Autumn light maple forest

This is a video done as a supplement to a watercolor class taught by Gary Tucker in Boston. This video demonstrates working on locations with watercolor and early decisions that help the artist to edit and plan for a successful watercolor. This demonstration is based on interpretation of color into light or dark or mid tone. In this video I demonstrate identifying the large mid value. Artists learn to group values in the three ranges and are thus able to simplify the painting you for liking this short video and for your comments.
