Lymphatic Venous Anastomosis ( LVA)
After identification of lymphatic duct and recipient vein, a small incision was made on the lymphatic vessel. A 60 nylon was inserted into the lymphatic duct as the intravascular stent to facilitate anastomosis and without accidental suture to the back wall. Side to end anastomosis was started by the first stitch on the angle. After the first suture, the anastomosis was continued from the posterior side with interrupt suture. The last three stitches were made without nodes in the beginning. The stent was then removed and the stitches were tied thereafter. (Mitaka Microscope, 40X).
