Space X Launch tower section 9, 8b stacked. More pulleys are needed. Boca Chica July 28 2021
SpaceX Mechazilla becomes reality What a sight. Today in the early morning hours the last section of the launch tower was stacked. Even before stacking, the first pulleys were installed and the crane LIFT can thus be confirmed (there will be no crane on top of the launch tower). Since the steel cables of the winch have to make a 45 angle, more pulleys are needed. I have added more pulleys and show in the animation how the steel cable is guided. Here it is also clear why there is a gap between section 8 and 9, 8b on one column.
