Soldiers wounded in mine clearance operation in southwest China

Scores of Chinese soldiers have been injured in mine clearance operations in southwest China s Yunnan Province, with the latest one named Du Fuguo having lost his eyes and hands in an accidental blast. Du, a 27yearold ground force soldier of the Chinese People s Liberation Army, was injured recently in a mine sweeping operation in an area in Yunnan, near China s border with Vietnam.
