Zombie Sheep of the Murrumbidgee by Daniel Kelly

I found this story in a book published about the history of Yass in December last year: I can t find any evidence to corroborate the story, but Dr Bennett, the Naturalist mentioned as the person who reported the behavior in 1832 was definitely a real person who was around in NSW in the 1830s. Anyone else heard stories of sheep going crazy and eating other sheep s lambs at birth For those who aren t familiar with Australian geography, the Murrumbidgee is a large river nearby Yass.
