Colour. Item begins with a sequence showing many different shoes, it is shot in an urban street and we just see shoes and calves of the women who walk past. Music on the soundtrack is a jazzy version of These Boots are Made for Two women are interviewed about the problems they have finding shoes for big feet and narrow feet. There are some horrendous photographs of feet that have developed corns and bunions due to wearing bad fitting shoes. An expert is interviewed about how most fashion shoes are only made in one fitting rather than in different girths. A width measuring tool is illustrated. A women is seen at the chiropodist. She has callouses, bunions and tough nails (yuc ). She blames the terrible state of her feet to the poor fitting shoes she used to wear when a fashion conscious teenager.
