This movie has become almost a dare. Or, weirdly, a meme It shouldn t be, though. It s not a faces of death, or a serbian film, or whatever else. It s powerful. It disgusts and upsets and terrorizes the viewer with the mundanity of the evil portrayed. It s a bummer It is certainly not a pleasant watch (pretty sure that wasn t the intent) but nor is it devoid of artistry. And, god, if ever a film achieved its goal it has to be this one, right Movies aren t obligated to provide enjoyment. Sometimes they eviscerate you.
