Interpretación bíblica La Ley
La nación Israel, recién salida de la esclavitud de Egipto y habiendo vivido tantos años como esclava, necesitó instrucciones sobre lo que significaba ser la nación escogida por Dios. Tenía que olvidarse de las malas costumbres adquiridas en Egipto y reconocer al único y soberano Dios Creador de todas las cosas. También debía ser advertida de no contaminarse con las costumbres de otros pueblos. Entonces YHVH les entregó La Ley, enseñándoles a través de ella cómo adorarle y cómo relacionarse con los demás. Cuando decimos La Ley nos referimos a los más de 500 específicos mandamientos dirigidos a la nación Israel.
