Crew 2 Mission, Hatch Closing
SpaceX and NASA are targeting no earlier than Monday, November 8 at 2:05 p. m. EST, 7:05 UTC, for Dragon to autonomously undock from the International Space Station and splash down approximately 8 hours later off the coast of Florida. Aboard the spacecraft will be Crew2 astronauts Shane Kimbrough, Megan McArthur, Akihiko Hoshide, Thomas Pesquet, who were launched to the space station from historic Launch Complex 39A (LC39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Saturday, April 23, 2021. After performing a series of departure burns to move away from the space station, Dragon will conduct multiple orbitlowering maneuvers, jettison the trunk, and reenter Earths atmosphere for a softwater landing at approximately 10:33 p. m. EST on Monday, November 8. After Crew2s safe return to Earth, SpaceX and NASA will target no earlier than Wednesday, November 10 at 9:03 p. m. EST, or 1:03 UTC on November 11, for Falcon 9s launch of the Crew3 mission to the International Space Station. Th
