Bexley Charter Celebrations (1937)
Full title reads: BEXLEY CHARTER CELEBRATIONS. Bexley, Kent. Several shots of the town dignitaries and crowds gathered to greet Lord Conwallis who is to present the charter of incorporation as a borough to Bexley. Lord and Lady Conwallis arrive in a car. They are greeted by town officials. Succession of shots of parade in honour of the guest boy scouts, brass bands, school children etc. Several shots of the Lord Conwallis inspecting exservicemen and receiving council officials crowds watching. Lady Conwallis receives flowers from a little girl. Lord Conwallis presents Mayor with the charter, crowds cheering. There is no mention of this item in the original paperwork for this issue.
