Another Orthodox shrine has met its difficult hour, this time in the Chernihiv region. Early in the morning, a Ministry of Culture commission with a police escort came to the Yeletsky Assumption Convent, one of the oldest monuments of the time of Kievan Rus. The police immediately blocked the nuns entrance to the premises where the women lived.
