Bushcraft trip to remote islands wild camping for 7 days. As I set off on this camping trip I got caught by heavy rain and arrived late to my campsite, only peanuts for me that evening. I was too exhausted to cook, so I went straight to sleep. I spoiled myself the following day with a proper bush made pita shoarma cooked on a make shift rotisserie assisted by a moose bone. Delicious. One of the most common questions I get about trips like this are how do I manage, store my food Generally this is not hot weather country. Even though this was filmed in June, I was getting only 4 Celcius one night. I bring most of the food frozen, and dunk it in a deep part of the lake or a cold water stream in the shade on a waterproof container.
