British Royal Family
The British Royal Family, the House of SaxeCoburgGotha, originally the House of Wettin, have reigned over the UK and Commonwealth monarchies from the time of King Edward VII, son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of SaxeCoburg Gotha. His successor, King George V, changed the family name to Windsor during World War I at the height of a wave of antiGerman hysteria.
