During a 2 month period all gun bearing police officers were trained in a combined active shooter and negotiations training. The training took place on multiple floors in a changing environment. Artificial intelligence of the virtual humans play a key role in a scenario that is adaptive to the polices actions. The project got accompanied by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam to study the impact of full body multiplayer virtual reality training in stressful situations.
