Découverte du PLUS VIEUX CALENDRIER MAYA connu au monde

Aujourdhui nous allons faire un bon en arrière de plusieurs milliers dannées en Mésoamérique, avec le Plus Vieux Calendrier Maya connu au monde. Un groupe d archéologues a découvert une cité maya dans la jungle d El Petén, au Guatemala, à seulement 2h de la Pyramide de Tikal. Cette formidable découverte montre que les Mayas organisaient le temps de manière rituelle beaucoup plus tôt qu on ne le croyait. Les chercheurs avaient aussi trouvé plus de 7 000 fragments de peintures murales. Grâce à la datation au carbone 14, ils ont pu calculer que ces premières peintures auraient été gravées entre 300 et 200 ans avant notre ère.
