Bennett And Williams Issue Title Is Hither And Thither (1944)
Part of issue HITHER AND THITHER. Pathe Studios, London. Comedians and musicians Bennett and Williams do sketch set in Home Guard headquarters. Bennett is an officer and Williams is a goofy Home Guardsman. After exchanging comic banter, Williams produces two strange musical instruments. He jokingly refers to them as Spigot guns, in fact they are like necks of cellos attached to brass horn and a played with bows. They play a sad sounding tune on the instruments.
