Lordine del terrore. Il lager
Il campo di concentramento è una realtà che tante volte si è ripresentata nel mondo. Nella Germania nazista furono creati subito dopo lascesa al potere di Adolf Hitler, ma presto vennero aggiunti i campi di sterminio, nel progetto soluzione finale del problema ebraico. Accanto agli ebrei venivano internati Sinti e Rom, omosessuali, slavi, comunisti, oppositori politici in genere e quanti potevano essere sospettati di non essere utili al Terzo Reich. Sebbene nel corso della storia abbiamo assistito a innumerevoli genocidi (il più terribile è stato lolocausto indio ai danni dei nativi americani da parte di spagnoli e portoghesi), nulla è paragonabile ad Auschwitz, nome simbolo del lager nazista, un luogo ove ogni diritto è sospeso, dove vige la sola legge del terrore, dove gli internati sono considerati materia prima da trasformare: in cenere, con connessa corruzione delle SS, padrone dei campi, che prendono tangenti dalle ditte costruttrici dei forni crematori.
