Dont Wish For An Easy Life
Miyamoto Musashi was one of the greatest samurai warriors to of ever lived and one of the key principles he left behind was to accept everything the way it is The problem that we see with us as humans beings, is that we tend to see what we want to see, rather than what is actually there But what Musashi highlights is that this creates a distorted view of reality, a fantasy that doesnt actually exist For example, Musashi highlights that pain and suffering are a very core part of life and one should strongly accept this truth as part of life rather deny its existence Trying to avoid pain and suffering is within itself denying the true reality of life Instead what Musashi highlights as to what you should focus on is to work on building yourself up to a point where you are able to tolerate lifes pain and suffering and even see the beauty in it Dont wish for an easy life as there isnt one but build yourself up with the ability to endure a hard one
