Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures
A movie showing a playthrough of Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures, a nice, casual adventure game made in 1996 by LucasArts. The game features a randomly generated world with a randomly generated story and randomly generated puzzles. Some notes: The cursor always looks like a right arrow on the video, but it s a video glitch. Ingame, it s changing to show the direction you are walking in. In Windows XP, all the dialogue bubbles have an annoying colored bar at the bottom. The game is played at the lowest combat difficulty, with the smallest world size possible. The reason why I seem to know where to go and what to do is because I started a new adventure, saved the game, played through it and reloaded the game so that I could keep the video under 10 minutes and avoid boring you by running around in confusion. It s a bit silly how Indy, in a quest to save a priceless artifact, tends to casually give away a few other priceless artifacts to random people. :P
