Cyclone Gelena passes Rodrigues 6am MUT February 10, 2019

Cyclone Gelena is currently over Rodrigues and will continue to impact the island over the next couple of hours before rapidly moving away. Significant rainfall and tropical storm winds are the impacts Rodrigues is experiencing right now, hence the class IV warning in effect. Gelena will be weakening as it moves away and is not expected to impact any more land areas.
