Plein Air Oil Painting Summer Clouds
Learn how I incorporate palette knife techniques and paint water reflections in this video. This was painted at a favorite swimming spot of mine called East Pond. I really like how the clouds shapes were in the sky and wanted to capture their fleeting effects. I used only a few colors to paint this: Titanium White, Chromatic Black, Burnt Umber, Ultramarine Blue, Rose Madder, Yellow Ocher, and Sap Green. I like the texture that the palette knife brings to the painting on panels. Thank you for watching the video. If you have any questions just put them in the comments section below and I ll respond as quickly as I can.
