Total Lunar Eclipse October 8, 2014 Time Lapse

This is my most beautiful time lapse so far. A total eclipse of the moon is a rare event, but this was the second one this year. I used what I learned from the first eclipse to be able to capture this eclipse even better. I found a spot in the desert near Brothers, Oregon to set up the Celestron Nexstar tracker and Canon SX50 superzoom camera. They both performed well, keeping the moon near the center of the frame, and taking perfectly exposed pictures with the new histogram metering function I just added
