For years, Brazilian dancers have attended the festival to share their passion for music, dance, and hiphop culture. In 2018, Pelezinho, Tyrone (IBE), and BBoy Lilou created the Havaianas Battle, also known as Batalha de Chinelo. This unique battle concept requires Breakers to compete in flipflops. Its a challenging feat, often resulting in flipflops flying through the air, much to the audiences delight. This distinctive element of Brazilian culture has become one of the festivals highlights.
