While the quaint street cry of the lavender seller is heard less and less, the demand for lavender does not and the harvest is a busy Scenic shot of lavender field. Shot is framed with a semicircular mask. Camera pans across the landscape to reveal group of people picking lavender. C, U of man s hands as he picks. He uses a small hand tool to cut the lavender. The lavender is stacked in piles. Sweet, blooming being cut and packed ready for the L, S of picturesque group packing lavender in the field under a canopy. Closer view shows the men and women tying the lavender into bundles. C, U of the guillotine used to cut the ends off the lavender. Various shots of the lavender being packed into wicker boxes.
