My Wish: Bradee Vance gets his wish to watch Duke vs. UNC , ESPN

As part of the 2024 My Wish series we bring you the story ofBradeeVance, a young man from Fort Gay, West Virginia who grew up loving the game of basketball and the Duke Blue Devils. At the age of 13Bradeewas diagnosed with a rare disease that required a livesaving kidney transplant. In dire need of a donor, his aunt Kristy Watts volunteered to give her kidney. After a successful surgeryBradeebounced back and was even able to play basketball again. We surprised him at halftime of one of his games and revealed that his wish to see a DukeUNC game in Durham had been granted. In Durham, we followedBradeefor two days as he had the opportunity to tour the Blue Devil basketball facility, meet CoachScheyerand the entire team, and even spent some oneonone time with the legendary Coach K, all before attending the game.
