Yuko Yuki Butoh Performances Archive In 1972 she was the only woman who took part in the foundation of DaiRakudakan, one of the first Butoh dance companies led by Akaji Maro. In 1975 she participated in the creation of the HoppoButohha (Northern Butoh School company ) In 1980 she took part in the foundation of the Suzuranto, the Northern Butoh School dance group formed only by female dancers. In 1984 she appeared in Hawk Zashiki for the Northern Butoh School Dissolution Commemorative Performance Director, Choreography: Tatsumi Hijikata Venue: Aoyama Sogetsu Kaikan In 1992 she decided to move to Tsugaru area (situated in Aomori Prefecture, the Northern part of Honshumainland Japan) and started developing a unique Butoh style.
