Student Cannot find ripcord, Instructor Deploys Parachute

Student with 18 jumpscould not find ripcord, fortunately an AFF instructor was acting as a coach. Student can clearly be seen checking his altitude while searching for his ripcord and was preparing to deploy his reserve if the instructor was unsuccessuful. Even thought the student was unable to find his ripcord the student reacted properly and continued to be altitude aware and was ready to deploy his reserve with both hands on his handles.
