DRUM LESSON: Linear 16th Note Triplet Groove
NEW LESSON, COVER EVERY WEEK This week I ll be teaching you guys a linear 16th note triplet (or sextuplet) groove that I ve been playing around with, which we in the next lesson will further explore by replacing some notes with our left foot. As I explain in the video, if you don t know what we mean by linear drumming and linear grooves it basically means that no two limbs, notes are being played simultaneously. This can be applied to other instruments as well, of course. Downloadable PDF: If you re new to the concept, this lesson might be rather tricky. Don t give up just work it out incredibly slow, notebynote. How you choose to learn it is completely up to you. Many find it easier to learn patterns by not worrying about dynamics for starters. Learn the pattern and the groove, and add in the dynamics later. Another alternative is to learn one limb at a time, and then putting them all toget
