Bishop Briggs Becoming ( Vevo LIFT)

Vevo LIFT artist Bishop Briggs was born in London, and moved to Tokyo as a child. Singing in Japanese karaoke bars while growing up, she discovered that performing was one of her true thrills, and even began to write her own songs at the age of seven. These days she lives in L. A. and has impressed fans with performances in all sorts of indie venues. Her string of tracks, including Wild Horses and River, have been acclaimed by critics. Our LIFT program will feature great live performances of both songs, along with The Way I Do. They were shot in Brooklyn in September of 2016. Our Becoming piece finds Bishop telling her own story.
