Tom Wolfe Whittlin Contest at Charlotte, NC 2010

This is a glimpse of the Tom Wolfe Whittlin Contest which was a timed event of 1 1, 2 hrs. to carve or whittle what you could out of a piece of 2 x 2 x 6 Northern Basswood. Tom and Nancy were away this year due to teaching a class, Matt Wolfea chip off the ol block was there overseeing Toms table of awesome one of a kind caracatures and the much loved Whittlin Contest. Thanks also, Charlotte Woodcarvers Club and all who participated and made it a great show Look Tom up at Grandfather Mtn. N. C.
