No titles. Comedian Billy Bennett. Probably filmed in Pathe Studio, London. Billy Bennett walks onto set where a man stands beside an easel. Bennett says if someone in the audience will suggest a celebrity, he will draw a lightning cartoon of them in two seconds. A voice offcamera calls out Gladys Cooper. Bennett says Douglas Fairbanks Certainly sir . He fiddles about at the easel, then tears off a sheet of paper to reveal a caricature of someone not sure who, but doesn t look like Fairbanks to me, or even Gladys Cooper The other man carries the easel out of shot. Bennett then takes a pack of cards, saying if anyone wants to come on the stage and examine the pack, I shall be very pleased if you ll stop where you are and mind your own business He gets someone to suggest a card and a voice says The ace of spades. Bennett looks in the pack, says perfectly correct sir (and that s the end of the trick ). The assistant comes back on with a bird in a cage. Bennett puts a large
