Do you punish the wrong choice

I like to film things the first try so I can show clients that training isnt a highlight reel but also how I try to help my dogs to learn new pictures. Dante isnt grabbing the tug at the end when I want him to run past it because hes disobedient. He doesnt know hes not suppose to. Its my job to show him and this is about the harshest Ill be with my dogs. I guess what I want my people to see is that the dog will try to do what we request if we can show them what we want. Its very common for trainers to put the e collar on and correct the mistake. Thats not my way. My dogs are never scared to make a mistake. The only living being that Im concerned with liking how I train is the one with four legs, and no keyboard
