Using a Hook and Crocodiles to remove Dry Ear Wax from Twisty, Narrow Ear Mr Neel Raithatha ( THC)
The client has a narrow and twisty ear canal. This can sometimes lead to excessive wax formation inside the ear canal since it is more difficult to migrate naturally out of the ear. Using a combination of an ear hook to begin with followed by crocodile forceps, I was able to remove all of his dry ear wax. He previously went to see his nurse who was unable to remove using ear syringing. There was small blister present upon removing the ear wax given it was embedded on the skin that lines the ear canal.
