Tango Jalousie, Caroline Campbell new arrangement

Posted this casual video on Instagram recently I plan to play it on tour next month with Bocelli woohoo Practicing a couple minutes of a brand new arrangement of Tango Jalousie at home with a synth orchestral backing track. . not exactly Beethoven here but so darn fun to play. . still memorizing the part and deciding on notes, bowings, fingerings, articulations and whatnot. . It makes me realize the wonderful technical advantage to practice at home with accompaniment (even if it is a synth demo ) because it is so hard to learn a piece, rehearse it once with piano or orchestra, and then perform it well and comfortably. . for me, a piece feels completely different by myself than it does with others Thinking back to concerts growing up, with one (or minimal) rehearsal to play a Brahms Sonata or Prokofiev Violin Concerto with orchestra craziness Is what is it But feeling grateful to have the tools to get in the groove here at home kb
