11 Septembre, la face cachée
Au matin du mardi 11 septembre 2001, l histoire officielle raconte que dixneuf terroristes ont détourné quatre avions de ligne. Deux avions sont projetés sur les tours jumelles du World Trade Center (WTC) à Manhattan (New York) et un troisième sur le Pentagone, siège du département de la Défense, à Washington, tuant toutes les personnes à bord et de nombreuses autres travaillant dans ces immeubles. Les deux tours du World Trade Center, dont les sommets culminent à un peu plus de 415 m de hauteur, s effondrent moins de deux heures plus tard, provoquant la destruction de deux autres immeubles. Le quatrième avion, qui vole en direction de la capitale fédérale sans que l on sache quel bâtiment gouvernemental il visait, s écrase en rase campagne à Shanksville, en Pennsylvanie, après que des passagers et membres d équipage, prévenus par téléphone de ce qui se passe alors ailleurs, tentent en vain d en reprendre le contrôle.
