NYC gunman worked in Las Vegas Casinos surveillance department
The man behind Mondays deadly shooting at a Midtown Manhattan office building, 27yearold Shane Tamura, has ties to Las Vegas, Nevada. Authorities say he drove crosscountry to New York City before opening fire inside 345 Park Avenue and leaving behind a suicide note. Tamura worked at Horseshoe Las Vegas, formerly Bally s, according to a spokesperson for the casino. Tamura held a Nevada state license to work in casino surveillance from 2019 through 2024. NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch also noted that Tamura held an overnight security job at the Horseshoe and never showed up for his shift on Sunday.
