Yaks grazing in meadow of wild flowers, Tibet
A herd of Tibetan yaks (Bos grunniens) grazes in the meadow of yellow wildflowers. A bull is wallowing in the dry mud while some are taking a dip in the freshwater body nearby. the herd consists of bulls, females, and calves. The yaks cross the freshwater body. Tourist cars are parked around the meadow on a sunny day. Yaks are an important part of nomadic life in Tibet. Products from yaks feed, clothe and provide for nomadic families in Tibet.
