How To Make Up (1947)
A stressful day can exhaust you. There is nothing better than a professional massage and a make up that is entirely done for you. Titles read: HOW TO MAKE UP. London. A workweary woman arrives in a beauty salon treatment room. The beautician helps her to take off her blouse and the woman lies down on a coach, wearing her slip, bra and skirt. The woman has a cloth put over her hair. C, U of a trolley full of cosmetics. The beautician puts cold cream all over her face and massages her skin with a rollpatting movement. The cream is wiped off, then cream foundation is applied, followed by mascara and eyebrow colour. Finally, lipstick is applied with a brush. The finished effect is seen on the fullydressed woman, who adjusts her hair, smiles her thanks and leaves the salon. Note: this is a great story, but slightly spoilt by the quality of the print.
