Daffodils (1928)

Scilly Isles. Eve gathers the daffodil harvest. M, S of a woman bending down to pick daffodils. M, S of group of men and women picking the flowers. Dainty messages to tell us that Spring is here L, S of two women working together it is pretty windy. Boxes of daffs are stacked onto a small barrow. This is then taken inside where women tie bundles of flowers together. C, U of women holding bunch of daffodils posing for the camera. And thousands of cases of daffodils cross the narrow Channel to M, S of cases of flowers being unloaded from a boat. Men work together to move the flowers.
