An adult lynx weighs up ot 40 kilos. Here, too, the female is a little smaller. The lynx lives a secluded life in the large forest areas and avoids contact with people. It prefers to live in almost impenetrable rocky areas, hiding in caves. By day it usually rests or cleans its fur. At dusk and at night the lynx hunts rabbits, hares and even roe deer.
