We in America lack a fluency in race, Oscarnominated actor Jeffrey Wright says. His latest film, American Fiction, explores themes of race and identity. You have now. .. a younger generation thats afraid of the history of race and representation in our country. And you have another segment, older perhaps or not, that wants to be dismissive of this history entirely, as though it did not exist. For me, what we need to do is to take in this history, so as to understand it, and therefore, perhaps understand better who we are.
